A very special kindergarten friend remembered how hard it was to have a brother in the hospital and know that Mom and Dad were spending so much time away. He thought if he and all of his school friends could make cards to send to patients and members of their family it could help bring smiles during times away from home. His project has blossomed into a collaboration between Rocco's Heart and several elementary schools in West Michigan. On a rotating basis, each classroom has the opportunity to be "on call" for all special card requests. The kids have markers, gluesticks and kind thoughts ready to write a special message to a new friend in need of a smile. Please fill out the form below to send a card to a patient, a very special brother or sister or even Mom, Dad or a Grandparent to let them know that they are in our hearts.
